“Organisme-Environnement” is an installation that explores the memory of coral through materials shaped by fire, questioning the links between nature, culture and the human impact on marine ecosystems.

The descent into the strata of coral is a journey back in time. Each layer tells a story, a trace left by the successive transformations of our planet.
In his installation "Organisme-Environnement ”, the artist uses materials shaped by fire: metal, ceramics - in particular the raku technique - and glass. These elements, subjected to the forces of time and heat, evoke the memory of corals, silent witnesses to the impact of human activity over the centuries.
His work seeks to capture the intersection between the tangible and the links that unite marine ecosystems and the societies that depend on them. Inspired by the myths, legends and traditions of people living in harmony with these environments, he explores the relationship between nature and culture. He proposes an alternative reading of the marine world, where past, present and future are intertwined in the same living matter.
