Bloodline's At Sea is a documentary film that blends cinema, archival material and soundscape to explore the interconnections between marine ecosystems, human social structures and environmental imbalances.

In Bloodlines at Sea, film and archival material combine to create an immersive experience exploring the interconnections between marine ecosystems and human social structures, inspired by the work of anthropologists such as Tim Ingold and Tamatoa Bambridge. On a beach facing the ocean, two women attempt, each in their own way, to reconnect with the sea: one through introspection, the other through ritual. This moment marks the beginning of a journey that follows the path of pollutants and greenhouse gases emitted by industrial sites, spreading to the ocean and threatening its ecosystems.

The journey continues beneath the surface, into the abyss, where magical creatures evolve in a world inhospitable to humans. The film's soundtrack immerses the viewer in a living sound material, mixing recordings of coral reefs (Reef Pulse), experimental music, songs and readings of ecofeminist poems. Little by little, human actions and experiments disrupt this fragile balance, plunging the ecosystem into darkness. Bloodlines at Sea thus highlights the fragility of life, reflecting the imbalances of our contemporary societies.
